F3 Limited Added Dash Accessories

I have installed a Volt meter & a 12 Volt power port into the dash of my F3 Limited.





Not the best photos, but there is ample space behind the dash for these add-ons.

Volt Meter is plugged into accessory wires, 12 volt plug is direct to battery.

What do you think??

Is the power port a cigarette lighter or USB port? Also, how about a pic with the volt meter on. Thanks

VOLT METER

Had one installed to replace the none working oil temp meter that was disconnected when I went digital for gas tank and oil temp. This is on my 2015 RT

Power port is 12 Volt Cigarette Lighter

I have a USB port under the Left service Panel

That thing on the left of dash is a Tachyon Video Camera that automatically comes on and off with the engine.

Again my photography skills are lacking but here is the photo you requested.

Couple of things...I got back from Korea today and the clock was waiting on me, Thank you!

Here's a dumb question, what is the benefit of the volt meter? The reason I ask is because I've been putting a lot of LEDs on my F3 and I always wonder how many will be too much. Will a voltmeter allow me to determine that?

Glad you got the clock.

Benefit of the voltmeter is only that if your charging system (alternator or loose wires or anything like that) is not working properly you know it right away.

Thanks Joe. I actually found a dual USB with voltmeter on Amazon that I am going to install on the left side. I put your clock on the right. Do you know what size hole you drilled for the 12v?

I used a 1-1/8" forstner bit, it was a tight fit but very solid. Be sure to get it centered.
