In addition, the turn signals were removed from the mirrors and placed on the fenders. Those were the main changes between the 2019 and prior years.I just picked up an F3-S this week. As far as the F3/S, I think the only changes were body color options, wheel color and new dash display. Sounds like 2020's could be quite different. Might be able to score a 2019 for a great price..

I heard someone discussing that the electrical system is not as accepting of aftermarket added lights. If this is so, I assume the 2020 models will be the same
I thought the 2019 F3s still had the 89 tooth

Looking at getting 2019 or waiting so see what comes out in 2020. Was looking at available after market accessories and noticed there are quite a few that will fit all but 2019. What changes have occurred since prior years? Tried the search feature, but no luck. Thanks
Parts list does not show the "S" having 89 tooth. Only 79 is listed ->https://www.partshark.com/oemparts/a/cam/5c2f72e987a8661634626a45/drive-system-rearisted.
The parts list you linked looks exactly like the one I use. I see both pulleys listed on it. They can call it a pulley or they can call it a sprocket, it is the same part. The part number is the same. Only the region and what they are calling it is different, with different number of teeth.

All the other years and other 2019 models have two pulleys in the fiche picture. I defer to your expertise. Have you tried to buy one?
That is wrong. The electrical system on the 2019 F3 is wired for many of the same accessories that are standard on the more expensive models. The wiring is already there and all you have to do is plug the compatible accessories in. There is also plenty of customer circuits already there to wire other items into.
Don't believe everything you hear.
In a way, 2RT was correct. I replaced the turn signals on my wife's 2019 F3S with LED's and there is no current way to cancel the hyper-flash. In previous BUDS, there was a setting that allowed the technician to switch the signals into "international mode". This feature has been removed for BUDS II which is on all the new 2019's. BUDS II seems to be a watered down "successor" to BUDS. Boggles the mind... but then again... Canadian engineering.
Does this method not work?
