• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

EZ Pass location

I guess no one likes my under the speaker grill idea?

FYI that is where I put my garage door opener!

underside of the frunk lid. It has never fallen off. It is also easy to get too and remove as I use the same easy pass for all three of my vehicles.

FWIW, the Florida Sunpass comes with suction cups.

On our RTs, I just stuff the Sunpass into the net on the back wall inside the frunk.

So far so good.

Just received my EZ Pass transponder and am wondering if anyone out there has mounted it in the 'frunk'? I really don't want to add it to the windshield too ugly then. Seems to me I read somewhere that it could be done:dontknow:. Thanks.

I also put mine in frunk. I don't know about your state, but in Fl. when you purchase your ez pass the license plate is also registered. If your pass does not register at the toll booth, a picture of your license plate is sent in. No fine for you if your plate is registered. I know this works because on toll booths with green/red lites sometimes my pass will not turn the lite green but no citations have been sent to me.

I mounted mine right near the latch under the frunk lid. Works every time.

Ditto...works great no problems.

I DO like the garage door opener idea though! ;) Guessing you paralleled the button with a micro-momentary push-button you mounted somewhere? Could have saved myself a bit of money if I'd have thought of that before I bought a Crib Clicker for the headlight high beam switch. :sour:

Exactly what I did!

At first I added my plates to my EZ Pass account but I now have my transponder on the inside of my frunk. It is specifically located on the right center and no issues so far.

Please, can you post picture of it?? Thanks

That's how it works up here in New York too.

I put mine in the front of the trunk in the net there. Never a problem and easy to swap into my Victory instead.

I wouldn't put it by the speaker due to the magnet in the speaker..

I bet because the magnet for the speaker is well below the box under the grill, it wont have any effect.
It's also a round ring magnet that tends not to extend it's magnetic field out very far.
