• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Exhaust Help

I'm presently running a Two Brothers Exhaust, It's great for power, performance, and sound.

But a to little loud on those long trips!

Anybody running anything in between with good tone and performance?

Without still hearing the pipe later in bed long after the trip.

Thanks

Custom made earplugs can help a lot. If you still hear noises after you go to bed, your hearing has already been damaged. This little stuff adds up in time. Earplugs can be a salvation...when you can still hear in your old age.

Get the P1X tip for the exhaust. It installs in between the exhaust end and the mufler itself. It helps some, not a whole lot but it at least keeps my ears from ringing on long trips now!

I went with the Leo Vince and couldn't be happier. Actually a little nasty without the baffle but a nice tone with the baffle in. Also very nice quality.

ear plugs are a must I do wear them on those long trips! and i do have the power tip i agree it did help a little but not much.

I'm wondering if that pipe is louder because it goes more upward and not strait back like stock?

anybody running the hindle i was looking at that

I have the same exhaust I am going to maybe try the P1 tip lowers 2-3 db or the P1X lowers 7-8 db that might be what you may need to try also.

i had hindle, leo no tip, and two bros with p1x and now running without and two bros is the free-est flowing of them all. p1x made it too restrictive to the point where there is no point of getting two bros with p1x. two bros does not recommend that you use p1x any way on spyder.
i don't know if you are running with p1 or p1x but if you are using p1x, hindle would be somewhat louder.

i've been running two bros single without the tip for few month and it is a beautiful sound when my spyder is running good but when it's sad(running lean), it becomes a high pitched bother that gets my ears ringing.

I find it hilarious that 2bros still sends the p1 ends with, IF you call them they will tell you that those tips are for 250cc dirtbikes. At least that is what they told me for the exhaust blowing up and then saying the single does not hold up and was a mistake they made it. I wielded or riveted it 6 times before I stopped using it. I will say that the best 1/4 mile time was with that pipe WHEN it was blown.
