• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ESI led turn signal blink fast

I have both front and back ESI led turn signals and when I use them as turn signal left or right they blink fine (right speed) but when I use the 4-way flashers and put bike into reverse they all blink fast like a bulb is out, why?

:dontknow:
I'm thinking you need a resistor in line??

Both sets come with it's own resistor, and why does it blink fine when I use them as turn signal and not in flashers or when backing up.

We designed these to flash the 4 way flashers fast when the bike is running (IE you actually are on it and stuck in traffic) to get you noticed better when you could be actually on the bike and having a problem.

They then will go back to the slow flash when the bike is turn off and the system powers down. (IE you park it on the side of the road) to make the battery last longer.

So your lights are doing just what we designed them to be doing with these LEDs.

Ok, if that's the way they work then all is fine thanks.

Sorry I'm Late!!

Just installed my ESI Led Turn Signals. I also noticed the speed of the "blink" and I'm glad for this thread. But I did notice that when I switch into reverse the "R" lights up but the green arrows on the dash do not flash off and on anymore !!! I did hook up the plug behind the Instrument cluster and all blinks well except the green arrows in reverse!!?? He Magic can you help
