• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

(!) Error

I have an (!) error. Of course it happens on a Monday and the dealers are closed. The manual offers 3 clues. It's not brake fluid level and not a blown fuse. The other option is take it in. The parking brake will not set, but is it safe to drive 5 miles? Anyone dealt with this? Nothing special happened except it has been 100 degree plus for 2 weeks. Scooter is garaged, though.

Can you hear the motor operate but the parking brake still doesn't lock? If so the cable may have come off the front pulley.

You have to take off a few a couple of panels, the wind deflector, and the mirror to get to the parking brake front pulley on the right side, but it is easy to get back in business. I did this in the parking lot at Maggie Valley. If you are not making a permanent fix at this time, at least lubricate where the nylon sheathed cable enters the rubber shroud on the cable sheath. I have found the cable sticks there, making it more likely to slip off the pulley. Some silicon spray helps. Kurt says a stronger spring is in the works, but it is not available yet, as far as I know.
