• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2014 SE6. The engine seems to be very loud, at times it is louder then the exaust. Lots of clank and clunk and slack in drive train, is this normal? and shifting into first or reverse is severe...............

Take it in to your dealer and have them check it out if you think it is not normal..Doesn't sound right to me by your statement.

Yea, I've got the same thing

I switched to 10/40w oil on the second oil change and it quieted the engine noise down some. The shifting into first or reverse after you start the spyder will result in a "clank/clunk" noise. Not to worry, it's normal. Get a louder after market exhaust to cover the engine noise helps some, but you are sitting on 3 cylinders pumping out 120 hp. so you've got to expect a little noise when all those horses start working for you. You've got a great bike, you just have to get use to some of it's idiosyncrasies. Bye the way, keep you belt adjusted properly. That helps some.

The 1330 noise reminds me a little bit of a diesel chugging at idle. Have not considered it as an issue. Going on 15,000 miles in one year now. No issues with the engine.
