• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sudden noise, chirping, & vibration from RHSide engine - anyone else? Ideas?

Well got the engine out and transmission off the engine. Not a job for the light wrenchers. It really was a bitch getting it out. BRP engineering need to think about their techs. Anyway, I just took pictures - see below. There is no way to do a step by step. You have to just wing it. But you do need to take the left passenger foot mount assembly off to get it out; also unbolt the gas tank and lift it up about 6 inches or so. Oh, also destroyed my recalled front pully. BRP had the techs Locktite it on with some white color crap. You won't be able to ever get these off without ruining them! Bad BRP.! Out another 130 bucks.

Well got it all back together. Rides and shifts great no more noisy bearing or chirping clutch. The imput shaft to the clutch drum was moving around causing the clutch to chirp. Of course the transmission fault light is on and needs to be 0 out with buds like the repair manual said would need to be done. Found someone near me that has buds. Going over to his place tomorrow.

I found someone with the BUDS II from my SOAR riding group. He reset the Transmission sensor and cleared the code. Rode it about 200 miles. All is good. One happy camper here.

Want to help me experiment removing all my left side body panels to install a Lamonster belt idler :) I'm up for a ride and lunch !!

I could do that. You have the new RT now right?

I do ... Bought a new, left over 2022 RT S2S last fall. Sold my F3S to an individual from Chicago. I'll be ordering a belt isolator soon. We'll be in touch. :)

I am almost speechless. Job well done and appreciate you sharing with us. Just wished you lived in South Carolina. Best wishes.
