• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Engine Light (Warning)

Lately I have been experiencing a "check engine" warning if I have left my bike uncover in the Central Texas heat. It has happened 3 times, twice I thought maybe I had overfueled it by accident. 3rd time it was on 1/2 a tank. If it is either covered or parked in the shade, everything is normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

If the outside temperature is over a hundred this will sometimes happen. Wind therapy does work and after about 5 minutes down the road, your bike should be back to "normal."

The sensors pick up radiated heat and your temperature indicator may show over 120. That is a clue.

All of the above...

You need to blow the air out from the engine compartment. Here we a fortunate to have the wind blowing most of the time to where this does not happen. Park in the shade, face into the wind ....
