• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Enclosed Trailer for two

I am looking for some options for a nice enclosed trailer to haul two spiders. Ideally low profile, light and as narrow as possible. Let me know if you have seen anything. Looking at a haulmark but want to research all options.

That will be a long one.Watch your opening on rear double door set-up, width deminishes due to the door hinges on my haulmark enclosed, just barely got the spyder in .Sure some deals on e-bay for new trailers.Good Luck Dennis #824

ATC (Aluminum Trailer Company) has a fairly good selection, I can't remember all the particulars, but they've got a web site. There's a trailer sales here that has a 8 by 12 ramp back with a side entry for about 3 grand. The rear door is 6 1/2 feet wide. next smaller size has a 5 foot door.

Spyder fits well in my all aluminum 7'x12' V-nosed, enclosed R & R, but you'll need something longer to accomodate two Arachnids. The width between the door cables on the seven footer is about 68" which gives adequate clearance to drive in or back out.

Back to the Renegade. I back my wife's Spyder into the v-nose and then my
Harley with about 10" to spare. The rear wheel of the Spyder sits into a chock and then I place a choke for the Harley. I also installed a flip down bed for the Rally's. Love it.

This is a tough one based on your requirements. In my opinion, you have three basic things to think about with a trailer. 1) Quality, 2) Lightweight, 3) Inexpensive.

You can typically pick only two of the above. You'll never get all three.

I have a Featherlite (fthr.com), and really like it. For me, it meets requirements #1 and #2 above.

I've owned Haulmarks, and they certainly meet #3, but not #2 and #1 is average for the price. If you want light weight, you'll have to go aluminum.

Ended up have a flat trailer built so it would work for two spyders. Decided to save the extra 7K to get an enclosed trailer. They also made it so I could side load at least 4 atv's which is nice for a dual use trailer.

Sounds like a reasonable solution, and should even get better gas mileage. I know when I got the enclosed bike trailer, I didn't get rid of my open one, and I am glad. There are times when it is more convenient, and it definitely cuts through the wind better, even with three bikes loaded side-by-side. Good for at least 2-3 more mpg.
