ECO Mode - what does it actually do? Anyone actually use it?

ECO mode doesn't "turn down the power a bit". (not related to ECU at all) It's simply an icon to remind you to shift earlier.

F3-T ECO mode

I liked ECO mode at first, but 1330 has so much torque I like to know what gear I am actually in. Just a green arrow but not what gear. So I no longer use it.

It changes the speed, at which the throttle responds to inputs... :thumbup:

As far as the Green arrow: If you're looking for it: you're NOT looking down the road.... :shocked:

I stand corrected as I didn't explain my point very well. It does alter the degree of throttle response (hence, the ECU intervention), but my point was that it didn't affect timing and/or AFRs. It doesn't do anything you can't do on your own by rotating your right hand differently.
