So on my way back from a 70 mile ride (still breaking in) and after braking, my parking brake light indicator comes on and I get a scrolling message of "EBD FAULT BRAKE FAILURE". Everything seems to be working fine. Turned off the bike to see if it would reset. Seemed to clear. Drove a block and it is back. So it's 2pm in Florida in July and like 90+ degrees so I decide to let the thing cool down as well as me. That's when I noticed my brake light was on while the bike is turned off. A little further inspection and it appears that my brake pedal is loose and not springing all the way back to the release position. So for now I have a bungee cord secured around a foot peg and the pedal so that I don't kill my battery and burn out my brake lights. Going to get into it tomorrow to see what adjustments can be done. My closest dealer is 40 minutes away so not really thrilled about making a trip for some simple adjustment even though it is under warranty. Thought I would post this up in case other folks run into this. Will post the fix but if anyone knows the fix already please share and save me some time.
