• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did first service myself.

I haven't had the nerve to try the oil/filter change yet, even with just over 24,000 kms in just over a year of ownership. My theory is that if anything goes wrong, I can know with certainty that all of the work has been done by the dealer, albeit at some pricey charges. Next July I feel I'll have the "guts" to try some service myself. I would strongly suggest that you have the belt checked by the dealer, though. That is a very important piece to not have operating correctly. And .. as for your RIGHT answer to your wife, Well Done!

I found that changing oil wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I took my time and checked off everything that needed to be checked with the first service. I go to my dealer tomorrow and he will check codes and belt. He encouraged me to do my own service to save money which I appreciated. I don't always have the right answer to my wife's questions!
