Had the DESS issue and based on Steve's (BRP customer care) comment on this site I had the Module replaced by my dealer in July. Last week I received a bill for $50.00 (deductible from my BEST extended warranty). I contacted BRP about this as I feel that they should cover this since it is a known issue with the 2014's.

In response to your request, I'm sorry to hear you were having issues with your unit. There are no safety recalls or warranty campaigns on your unit. Unfortunately, since the regular warranty expired 2016/03/28, your unit is under the Best extended service plan, which in turn does have the $50 deductible.Please see attached for terms and conditions for Best.
