There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You could get one of them lamps of the leg with the lamp shade on top put that in the middle of the table and order out Chinse (they are always open on Christmas Day).

Interesting. I just finished watching A Christmas Story. Have to do it at least once a year. I am of that era and those cars, houses, the Christmas celebration scenes all bring back some fond memories. I actually had a couple tears this go around. :bowdown:
Foggy and cooler today. Another cold spell heading our way and severe storms predicted by Tuesday. They are predicting possibility of tornadoes in the area. Hope they are wrong on that one. :bowdown:

58 forecast here for tomorrow before the Winter Storm rolls in. Just had a new rear tire put on, so I get a chance to try it out.

And I may need 2 snowblowers----- At least 18" of snow last night and it's snowing now. We are buried-----------Some drifts are over 2.5 FEET. Feels like the winters of old....

It's partly cloudy (partly sunny) here in the desert S.W. It was supposed to be a rainy day today, but the rain passed through during the night. Now it's just a little breezy (9 MPH) and cool with a humidity of 71%. The high will only get to 56. Low overnight will be 39. That "Global Warming" thing isn't happening here. We've been 5-10 degrees below normal for the past couple of weeks. One of the 3 groups I ride with won't meet if the morning temperature is below 50 degrees. A bunch of old wusses! Thankfully my Thursday riding group will bundle up and ride in most weather. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Central Utah it has been snowing off and on all day. Cynthia ( she wanted to do it) cleaned the dtiveway once and I can see it will need it again soon. No let up for the next day or so. Probably no getting the Spyder out of the trailer until next spring.
Still cloudy & dank here in the Adelaide Hills of South Oz; not quite raining right now, but it was just a few minutes ago, & probably will be again before too long... 
Temps are getting well into single digits (°C) most nights, and daytime temps that are barely reaching the high teens seems to still be the general forecast! 
But we have had a little bit more of these short breaks in the constant rain over the last few days, even had one day that was sunny & warm late last week, the daytime temp reached about 37° C (not quite 100°F) but that was just while the Antarctic Winds that've been keeping us cold'n wet were taking a bit of a breather!!
There was even snow down to about 500m in the Snowies & Alpine areas of the South Eastern States early on last week, with snow at sea level in Tasmania, and we're almost a fortnight into what should be our Summer!! :shocked: Mind you, there's usually a good snow fall or two in the mountains between Christmas & New Year, but it rarely stays on the ground for too long; only this year, they might even still be ski-ing then!! :gaah:

The desert S.W. continues to be cool. Today's high will be 52 and the overnight low will be 38. Well below our normal averages of 66 and 40! It's partly sunny/cloudy and the humidity is 76%. The wind is calm. The higher elevations around the valley are all getting snow. Some are seeing quite a lot of accumulation. I just made a pot of decaf coffee. I mix it in a very big cup with a good squirt of chocolate syrup and a shot of peppermint schnapps. Really helps to warm my old bones on a cold wintery day. Stay safe..... Jim

Still no snow in the forecast for today. Hopefully all you Sled people will get the snow you need for your fun. Snow for me is fun to watch but a real problem to drive. Just don't enjoy all the crazy drivers out there.
