• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It was 28 this morning when I went for a ride in my part of NE Ohio. It was overcast and moments of very very light snow. I was only able to put about 150 miles on the Spyder the last couple of days.

I think BRP should give me commission for the all the BVS2 helmets I probably sell for them now. More people to stop to ask me about my helmet then my Spyder it feels like. I wear that when it drops below 32.

Tuesday

:coffee: Got some of the Christmas stuff out and hung up yesterday. Going to keep it very simple this year. The wife will have the opportunity for inside the house. So we'll see how she goes.

High of 38°F with some clouds, low of 30°F.

Stay Healthy. .........

Valley Springs AR:

We just came back from a 125 mile ride. We hit 64 degrees. Blue skies and sunshine all the way.

It's been 80 degrees here for the last couple of days. Today and tomorrow will be 78. Then a bit of a cool down with a good chance of rain on Thursday and Friday. Hope rain happens. We haven't had any for several months. I had my Tangelo tree removed this last Saturday. It did not fair well during our hot, record breaking summer. I had them cut the tree at ground level and leave the roots. Perhaps something may regenerate..... Jim

It was near 70 here today so had to ride around for a couple hours. Saw several had the same idea. I love global warming in December.

Wednesday

:coffee: Welcome back to Wednesday. A chilly morning temperature of 34°F with sunshine. Weather People are saying that we are having some changes coming. Suppose to be a warming trend, near the 50°F zone.

Today 51°F with sunshine, low of 30°F.

Enjoy your Day. ......

Here in Vermont, it is snowing lightly, the temps in the 30's. It is cloudy. At the end of the week, there is a slow warm up( rain,). The weather here has been up/down. So far we have had an unusual mild winter here.

The spyder is in hibernation since Oct.

Also, the sleds are ready, and getting restless.

Warmer Days

:coffee: Yesterday was a beautiful day for us. Lots of Sunshine and high of 53°F. More of the same for today.

Today about 56°F with sunshine, low of 39°F.

Enjoy your Time. .......

The predicted rain finally happened overnight. Not a heavy rain but it was wet. This is the first we have had in 110 days. Overcast today with a high in the low 60s and a chance of sprinkles. Drying out tomorrow and Saturday. Riding this time of year is planned without much regard to the weather. It is almost always good riding weather. Will take a couple days off and enjoy the change..... I also just read that the Phoenix area has had a total of 15 days this year with measurable rain. That also is a pending record with the old one standing at 18 days..... Jim

Valley Springs AR: What a great day today for a ride. We did another 100 miles. Hit 77 degrees, but it varied down to 74 in the shade.

They are forecasting rain here this weekend!

The temp is 38 degree's, it was cloudy all day today.

Friday

:coffee:Looking for two more warm up days (50°F +). Next coming up are some good ole rainy days that will cool us.

This morning it was a little chilly at 38°F.

Today's high will be only 59°F with some clouds. Low of about 50°F with some rain. .........

Enjoy your Day and Stay Healthy

Valley Springs AR: Raining and cooler. The party is over temporarily. We are going to play with the 30's before another warm up. The weather map to the West of us looks a bit cold.

It was a nice day here in Connecticut. Mostly sunny and it got into the low 50's. I went for a ride at lunchtime, put on a little over 60 miles. The sun at noontime was where it would be at about 4 o'clock in the summer though.

Weekend

:coffee: Welcome to the weekend. Indiana woke up to major rain showers. This was the first rain for this month. Off and on all morning rain is todays story. The temperatures will be going down hill all day. Today high was 52 at 5 a.m. this morning and low of 34' F. Sunday high of 38' F and low 27' F. I was able to get two days of 'Wonderful Ryde Time' in this week. ...........

Enjoy your weekend. ........

Valley Springs AR: As I look out the window, it is SNOWING. Now starting to make the ground a bit white. We are getting a rain/snow mix which is supposed to continue for a few hours. Then, back up to high 30's/low 40's for the next couple days.

We get to enjoy the snow but will not have to shovel it or contend with it until March. Well, we are hoping.

We had two such episodes last winter. Will have to wait and see what this year brings.

Valley Springs AR: an update: We got almost 4 inches of snow on the ground. My internet and phone went out (satellite via hughes.net). Turns out it was snow on the dish. Cleaned that off and it went right back on.

That's a good trick to know. I was without for about 15 hours. The TV worked though, a different satellite system and a smaller dish, no snow there this AM.

26 above but we are headed for 40's. Happily, the snow is on the melt. Supposed to warm up to the 50's again in a couple days. Will be eager to ride again.

Monday

:coffee: Indiana did not receive any snow today or during the weekend. Just got the cold temperatures and high winds. Enjoyed the time with the wife and family.

Today's high will be 36°F with some clouds, low of 23°F.

Stay Healthy. .....
