• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OMG, Am I drag'n *ss today or what ................

OK, going on very little (if any really) sleep here, but I thought I'd give y'all a morning chuckle:roflblack: if your so inclined:shocked:

At 2:35 this morning I proceed to pull up to the 24hr McDonalds drive-thru in my neighborhood and proceed to order some breakfast to take into work with me. Oh yeah, its only 2:35am and breakfast doesn't start til 5am, so I have to order from the regular "lunch" menu.

"Good morning, welcome to McDonalds, go ahead with your order."

"Hi, I'll have a Whopper with cheese and a large diet, please." :shocked:

I'm feeling very guilty right now.... Anything that could go wrong at work today..HAS

My co-worker Mary is going to be left all alone now to deal with this mess. Two different bosses and even bosses' bosses bosses have asked me about leaving for vacation with my department not able to run. Mary stepped up and reminded them that she was the only one here when I was out for almost 4 months for my back surgery, and they've relented and not made me cancel my vacation, but I'm already feeling bad for Mary, as she's never dealt with the issues that my department is having now. The most major, is that my Laser welder keeps loosing power, and has been going haywire all day, running more scrap than anything. Never a good day like that. I've run my butt off so much today, dealing with one problem after another and she's been here helping me all day, along with running her own department. Now for the next week, cause Teddy & I will be going to SITA, she's going to have to deal with all my mess along with her own department. I owe this lady more than I can communicate.

She deserves a nice, little "thank you" gift when you came back, that's for sure. I suspect she knows just how much you need this trip. Sounds like a great lady!
 
I agree with Dr. Moto, also just as a pass of reference, we all get vacation, and some how it NEVER seems to play out that everything is at a good place when you step out. I think you are working hard and earning your opportunity to take vacation.

If you have pride in your work and enjoy the people you work with you feel this way. Just remember, she will want a vacation sometime soon, and you will be able to to provide her area help when that happens!

If we try to go past 8 hrs. with our dog, we are really, really pushing it. I think Teddy deserves a Gold Star for that or at least a big, big dog snack of his choice!!

It was great to meet you and Teddy yesterday.

Teddy is such a star, it took Dave and Teddy hours just to get some food, every time they went to walk away another fan would show up. It a wonder you get to ride anywhere I can just imagine the gass stops.

I have to say Teddy looks like the perfect riding partner, does not complain, no kidney punches, easy to keep amused and a get out of jail free card to boot.
