Where’s Dave “cyncy Spyder” and his dog Teddy been? I don’t get on SL too much anymore but here and FB have shown no recent activity.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dave and Teddy
As you may recall ... many posts ago ... Dave was having some health issues (neck and back) that are both painful and interfere with his quality of life. Tim Felty lives not too far from him and reached out today ... according to Tim (on FB), Dave is only able to ride short trips (so he still has the Spyder and is still chaufer to Teddy -- it is Ted's Red Sled, after all). Anyway, it has always been Dave's desire to keep his posts upbeat and positive, that is hard to do when pain rules your life (trust me, I know from experience with hubby, that pain can alter who you are and how you think).
So, if things settle a bit and his pain is managed a bit better, we may see Dave come back and bring us up to date on Teddy's antics (no doubt, he is still a "ham" for the camera). In the meantime, send good thoughts (pray, if that is your chosen method) that life for Dave will turn more towards the positive and that he will be back regailing us with some funny stories.

I met Teddy the first Spyder gathering I ever went to at Lamont's in TN.
Dave was there too.
Teddy wasn't sure about me at first but Dave finally convinced him I was okay.
I found both of them delightful.
My Best to both and my hope that life gets better for them both.

As you can see, we're alive & for the moment, still riding on Ted's Red Sled when weather & pain allows. Apologies for our lack of communication lately, just so much life adjustments to deal with, that I've been way overwhelmed. I'll try to ease back into updating Teddy's fans on a more regular basis, but in all honesty, there's not much living going on lately. Teddy sends lick'ns
