• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CYCLE GEAR NOT GOOD

I ordered 2 pr. of base layer riding shorts, called "HEAT OFF" from Amazon. They were shipped to me from Cycle Gear, and they arrived on time, but upon examination, I found they didn't have a fly!! NO FLY?!! Not good!! I called Cycle Gear to get instructions on how o return them for credit, and requested the return of the postage charges of $6.99, to get them to me, as well as return postage charges. Long story short ..... they refused the postage charges, saying that they would "refund the purchase price. Not postage charges." So, my issue is: How can they expect a man to wear them under his riding clothes, if he can't pee without pulling down his pants?? They explained that they were "Omni-sex", but their product description didn't say that, any where. I lodged a complaint with Amazon, explaining the situation, and they said they would fix the situation. So, my advice to our SL members is: BEWARE CYCLE GEAR.

I have some Under Armor and they are the same way. I think that is the way all or most of these shorts are made these days.

Sounds like you're gettin your undies in a bundle about, well, gettin your undies in a bundle. Hmm, I guess we all pee differently, apparently. It's not like you drop your pants to the floor...or do you? Nevermind, don't answer that:yikes:

Well..

I will say that the Adidas Clima Cool briefs I wear, have no fly. The same goes for the insulated ones I wear on really cold day for ice fishing.
But I hear ya as far as the return nonsense goes.

The one near me closed but I miss the store... Never ordered online from them but loved shopping in store! Sorry to hear of you troubles...

Here's the thing....

you should have gone to amazon direct. You did not order them from cycle gear to start with. i have the shorts and shirts, full and half head covering and they do a good job...glad you got it sorted out...

Bathroom technique when you have no Fly:
Simply go to a stall ( bathroom of your choice Men--Women or

Undecided. Pull pants and Heat Off shorts down together, sit on seat and pee your little heart out!

Now that's not too hard is it?
:D Life is full of difficulties, one must learn to accept and adjust!

BTW most online stores do not pay return postage.

If you look closely at the pictures in the catalog or online it is pretty obvious that there is no fly. I agree with Chupaca you should go through Anazon since that is where you bought them.

 I really don't mean to sound unsympathetic; but a bit more research on your part just might have prevented this from happening. :dontknow:
If you consider the shipping cost, as the "Price Of A Lesson Well-Learned"; it might not hurt so much.

This company has what you are needing. I have used this in the past, found them good, and will continue to use them. http://ldcomfort.com/mens-dryline-shorts.html

I wear the Heat Out stuff as well and have never had an issue with it. And their return policy is pretty much the same as every other online retailer.

If you wear a pair of Depends under the Heat Outs your problem is solved....nothing to pull down!

Good thing you were never in the NAVY!
