There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Curious if others have had battery issues with newer OEM Batteries?

We replaced my wife's 2105 F3 with a 2024 F3T last summer. After a few months, it was obvious (for a few reasons) that her battery was not up to par. Our dealer agreed and replaced her battery. After a few weeks, it was clear that the new battery was also bad. I don't recall the battery brand, but it looked very generic to me. The dealer commented that they had many recent problems with 2024 batteries. The third battery was a proper Yuasa, just like ones I've purchased in the past for her 2015 F3 and my Indian. After 2 months of monitoring with a multimeter, after charging and/or after weeks of non-driving, the Yuasa tests out extremely well. Problem solved. I'm curious if others have had issues with their newer OEM batteries.

Yes, there is a lot of that going around with the 24's. Yuasa is a good brand, I averaged about 4 years with all of mine.

These powersports batteries have no reputation for being as long lasting as an automotive battery. They are more inline with the durability of a typical garden tractor battery. You can expect a couple of seasons with good care on average but will probably need replacement by year three.

The problem is at least as old as 2022. My RTL had the Chinese brand battery that I nursed along for about 1 1/2 years. I think the name is Haijiu or something like that. Really, really bad batteries. I am now running a NOCO lithium ion battery. Shame on BRP for making this decision and continuing to use the same batteries for years now.

Yes. The Haijiu batteries that are now standard from the factory are junk. BRP only warranty's them for 6 months. I had one friend that flew from NC to PA to buy a new 2023 F3L, and the battery died on the ride back to NC.

Nothing new about junk batteries. They have been around for years. As others have posted, do your homework before buying any new batteries.

I hope we can get batteries made in the USA again and soon.

Mine didn't last a year, and it failed in the midst of a 10,000-mile trip. I'd like to stomp the toe of the Can-Am bean counter who signed the contract with Haijiu.

Yuasa batteries are made in the US.

"Yuasa Battery, Inc. has been manufacturing powersports batteries in the US since 1979. We are the leading manufacturer and distributor of batteries for motorcycles, ATVs (all-terrain vehicles), UTV’s (side-by-side), snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and scooters.

Over several decades, Yuasa has been recognized as the top premier powersports battery brand in the US and globally. We have been the leading supplier of OEM powersport manufacturers delivering reliability and peace of mind under any circumstances."

Yuasa was the OEM battery in my 2019 Ryker Rally. It lasted 5+ years and 22,000 miles.

Took ownership of my new 2023 RTL in August. Just had the battery replaced under warranty this week 12/3/24. Replacement was a YUASA.

Yes, it has been documented here and elsewhere.
The battery on my 2014 RTL lasted 6 years. On my 2022 RTL less than a year.
