couple of questions from new spyder owner

Couple more questions that I would like to ask. Can I use Saddlemans spray seat and saddle conditioner on the seat of my 2012 spyder rts? It appears to be some kind of vinyl but I just want to be sure? Secondly checking air in rear tire is a chore trying to get air chuck in between belt pulley and wheel. Would a valve extender help to check and pressurize tire to make this easier, then obviously take off when finished?

The seats on the Spyders don't require any type of conditioners as mentioned in the owners manual is all they need is to be cleaned while washing your new ryde I think they discourage the use of conditioners as they tend to make the seat slippery.

as to the seats none is needed on stock seats. Custom seats may vary with manufacturer. As to the rear tire a double headed chuck works well from the back side. An extension can be used but I would not leave it on...:thumbup:

I use a two-handed approach to that rear tire valve...
...Crawl down in the dirt on your right shoulder
Use your right index finger, to push up slightly on the valve stem...
Your left hand attacks through the spokes on the sprocket with the pressure gauge! :thumbup:

That rear tire nozzle requires a left handed double git back (only available in the southern states). :thumbup:

I use a valve extender, makes a tough job VERY easy.
