There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Compairison between Belt vibration --Smooth Spyder versus Baker-Built

Idler pulley

Do we have any reports of how BRP's tensioner is working out? :dontknow:

Just installed a BRP idler pulley $40.00 took 40mins have to remove 2 panels on f3t . Remove 2 bolts and install. Took for ride vibes all gone what a pleasure to not have to ride around the belt vibrations.

Idler pulley

Has sanyone compared the 3000--4400 RPM vibration decrease between the Smooth Spyder & Baker built models? Baker Built is now on the upper side of belt & Smooth Spyder is on the lower side of belt. I may be looking for a magic vibration solution caused by engine internal balance issue.- but I'm no quitter:banghead:
Thanks for any conclusive help.

installed on my f3t a BRP pulley took 40 mins , works great no more vibes.

Made for us version

The Australian bikes have smaller rear sprocket with shorter belts hence the BRP roller sits about 1.5 inches lower = lower tension on belt.
It still improved 60 mph vibrations. I now notice vibrations on foot boards from engine vibrations and handle bar vibrations a little more.

My F3S is much smoother. What surprised me was how much less fatigue I experienced. I believe we all notice the heavy vibration at 55-65 mph, but there are low frequency vibrations that we are unaware of that will began to ware on the rider. I think it is a very important install.

I noticed the same vibrations. I am still very pleased with the tensioner...

Replaced Baker with BRP belt roller unit plus Stuff

I finally got around to a test ride with the new BRP belt anti-vibration roller. I did seem to feel an improvement over the Baker unit I replaced but I still feel a lighter vibration between 3200--3700--strongest at 3500 rpm. I took the F3's up to 112 mph in 5th gear before traffic forced me to slow down.

In my effort to get rid of the vibration I have also added cork filled foot pads--see photofootpad insulator.jpg
I have also had gel/foam seat inserts installed. ELKO shocks front & rear, stabilizer bar upgrade + stuff. If everyone else has solved their vibration problems I'm thinking my motor was built on a Monday :-(

Wife & I went to Nashville, TN for 5 days & on the way(actually out of the way) we rode through the "Tail of the Dragon" in Deals Gap, NC close to the TN border. The tail of the Dragon has 318 curves in 11 miles. I'm glad we rode in our SUV. The Tree of Shame is surrounded by smashed motorcycle parts by those who tested their riding skill set & failed. Quite a few riders didn't survive the curves--mainly lots of young people on sport bikes. 318 various banked curves on a somewhat narrow 2 lane hwy in 11 miles--gets old after 5 miles :-( Someone started a forest fire thus the smoke in the background--several areas were evacuated.

I had high hopes going to Nashville but after arriving I remembered I can't sing, play any musical instrument, or even tune in an analog radio. I guess I'll have to put my stardom on hold for a while. I tried pole dancing twice but the welts from rolls of pennies & nickles were quite painful--insensitive bitches--I was dancing my heart out. I could just go to my room & have a good cry
