Color code of brake light wires....

I have a 2016 F3T that I have the connector undone on one side at the rear near the taillights. I'm trying to tap into the ground and the brake light wire. I tried a test light at the connecter but seems it did not make contact with connectors. What is the color of ground and the color of the brake light wire?

Hi,
Not sure for the F3T but on my RTS the brake is black (for ground) and Orange (for brake light wire).
I would presume that the cabling is the same on all Spyder (but I may be wrong).

The brake light wire is white. The grounds, there are 2 of them, are black.

Signal right is brown/yellow to yellow on the connector.
signal left is gray/pink to yellow on the connector
tail is orange on both sides of the connector
brake is white on both sides of the connector.
black is ground on both sides of the connector

Is the white wire the brake light wire on all spyder models? I am trying to connect my led lights with the brake light fixture and wanted to be sure as to which wire I needed to tap into.

While on the subject of wire colors, I'm wanting to add a LED second back-up light without having to remove the top trunk, if possible. Anyone know the color of the wires going to the reverse light and can they be seen under the passenger seat? i suspect there are only 2 and one is a ground (black?). 2017 F3L.
