• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

clutch noise ?

I was at the dealer the other day having my wife's 2013 STS worked on. I have a noise kind of like a noisy throwout bearing in a car when I release the clutch in neutral. You can hear and feel it. The service manager said it was normal. Sense this is a hydraulic clutch would it have a throwout bearing? And is this normal. It is also more pronounced when it has been ridden for a while.:banghead:

Don't know..!!

but I believe the STS does not have the hydraulic clutch. This only comes on the new 1330 ACE engine. There always is a change in sound when idling in neutal seeing as there is no load. The oil level and condition is important on these engines (998cc) but the sound change should not be a great one. Get some other opinions and or listen to others...

My wife has the STS. I have a f3s with 1330.

Wasn't clear with post. My wife has a STS and I have a 2015 F3S 1330 SM6 with the clutch noise!:banghead:

Mine also rattles in neutral when you let the clutch out and is also more pronounced after riding a while. I kinda figured it's just designed that way...
