My dealer estimated $300+ to buy, mount, balance and re-install the rear tire. I'm going to buy the shop manual for my 2014 RTs and that should tell me how to align and tension the belt. Balancing the wheel may be the main problem with doing a re-tire. When I was racing a 140 mph formula car back in the 70s all of my tires were balanced on a bubble type balancer as were all of the cars that bought and mounted tires at the track...including cars that were much faster than mine. So I may buy a bubble balancer for about what it would cost for the dealer in labor to mount a tire. Does it require special tools to set up the rear wheel alignment?
