Change the windshield?

After riding on the "slab" for 60 miles today (had to get to a doctors appt. or I would have taken back roads) I wondered if anyone has found an aftermarket windshield that offers better wind protection? I changed the windshild on my BMW LT with good success and am considering a change on the RT also. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Which model year RT so u have?

If 2011 then look at swapping with guys who have a 2010 larger windshield. 2 in taller and 1 in wider per side.

Not sure your height. We swapped because we wanted a shorter windshield as she is not tall ... There are others on here that will swap. Or go aftermarket if u want even taller or wider.

ESI (a SpyderLovers sponsor) offers some alternative windshields. The taller/wider 2010 windshield is listed in the accessories catalog under a new number, but it may not be available.

Just for perspective I have 2010 RT-S and have no problem with wind noise and do the majority of my riding with open face helmet and sunglasses from backroads to Interstate speeds with sheild set in lowest position never have rode at any other setting, I'm 5' 10.......:thumbup:

If you have a 2011 RT I am more than happy to trade my 2010 version for your 2011 :thumbup:hyea::2thumbs:
