• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody ever seen one of these (JMCB 2003) adapted to an RT SE5? If so, how? Again, I am not asking about mounting on an RS. I'm asking about adapting to an RT SE5. Specifically: Handlebar mounting, power and antenna run to rear trunk.

Thanks! :helpsmilie:

We talked to J & M about this for my RT-S SE5 a few weeks ago and did not have a bracket to fit my bike. So gone with BRP and my J & M headset.
Had the hand mount CB on my other bike and it did very well.

Ruthie, I have the BRP CB which the dealer installed. It seems to transmit okay, but receive is poor. I ride with the same group and my Wing CB is clear on receive up to 3/4 miles or so, but my Spyder receive over 2-300 years is garbled and broken up. I am not too happy with it's performance....yours???? Just wondering.

Have the J & M CB on my SE5 and on my new RTS I have Scala G4. I was never happy with the unit. Never recieved well and all kinds of trouble with Helmet cords and lower cords. Replaced 3 cords in a year .

Big Red 1, Rode Sunday about 150 miles with hubby and could hear him very well. Have not rode with our GW friends since I got the CB so can't say how it works with them.

Will be riding to Seiverville, TN this Thursday, only with hubby but it will be a good test for a long ride. I will let you know how it works on the this trip.

If any Sypder owner in the area of Sevierville, TN., GWRRA TN District is having a rally at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. All bikers are welcome. And who know, you may find something at the vendors. http://www.tngwrra.org/

Ruthie, my CB works great at short distances, however when I get 1/4 mile or more from the other rider, it is garbled and staticie...(not a word, ha ha) Fall back from your husband 1/4 or more, maybe 1/2 mile and see how it works...that is when I have my problem. I might just have loose grounds or something that I will address with the dealer. Thanks, BR1.
