• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CAT Bypass and Emissions

Just FYI for Connecticut Spyder Owners, CT DMV does not require emissions testing of motorcycles, so removing the CAT is not a problem. On the other hand, BRP would probably say that it violates the warranty. But then again, riding them probably violates the warranty.

Removing the catalytic converter MIGHT cause you warranty trouble ...
IF, the part that implodes; can have the source of it's damaged traced back to the shenanigans that were pulled in the exhaust system..

So if you tear a handlebar grip, or your headlights burn up; you're still going to have an intact warranty to replace it! ;)

If you remove it....KEEP IT! And if necessary you can reinstall it BEFORE you take it to the dealer for service.

That is the way to handle it. Get rid of the POS and if you need to put it back on, you can.

Keep it in the frunk, so you always have it with you just incase !!! :roflblack:

:agree: !! Put it in a box on your shelf in the garage. Ya never know !!

I ordered an Attwood blower to pump cooler air in to the new intake and it came with a warning label... I wonder if they knew I was installing it on a Spyder....
