• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

Several of us on the Canyon Lovers FB group reported hearing something that sounded like the tire rubbing the front fenders when hitting a bump of some kind while in a turn, such as turning into a driveway or a parking lot. I took my front wheels off to have a look yesterday, and sure enough, there it was.

These plastic fenders have a good amount of flex in the front, just enough to let them flop down and make contact. It’s not as easy to see on the one fender but you can feel the dip. I’ll let BRP know, I suppose I’ll start with the sales guy I bought from and go from there.

My Canyon makes a creaking or popping noise when turning and going through a dip (such as when turning into or from an elevated fuel station. My perception is that it is due to flex of the water deflector in front of the pegs where it attached to the tubular frame. I took it to my dealer and the tech drove it and he suggested the water deflector. I have not removed the wheel to look for scuffing under the fender.

I wonder if you put a dab of white paint on the scuffed area and drove it if the paint gets wiped off. That would show if it is a current or past issue.
