• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can-Am Spyder 10th Anniversary Homecoming registration will go LIVE today

I just completed registering for myself and my wife. I had a slight glitch in that the confirmation I received only listed me as a registrant. I found out that even though you can register both spouses at one time, BRP sends out a separate confirmation for your spouse directly to him or her. They also send out separate invoices. But you should end up with two separate confirmation numbers, one for each spouse.

Registered just myself. Too far for my wife. Care to share the road there? I live south of Riverside.

Does anyone know if any of the hotels listed by BRP are pet friendly?
If you do a search for "hotels near sherbrooke" on Google Maps it's easy to click on the hotel and then to the hotel website where you'll find if they're pet friendly. Many of the ones I looked at today are, but usually for an additional fee.

I made my reservation yesterday at 12:05pm and had no issues. I also made a reservation at the Au Virage B&B in in Magog, QC. I purchased an RT-622 trailer for this trip. It will be our first long distance trip for my Wife and me on our Spyder ST LTD. looking forward to meeting you all.

Browser sitting on that site. Can't wait ... biggest question for me is whether my wife will ride with me or if she will fly to Montreal and join up there.

I believe that's exactly what we're going to do. I got her to ride with me on a 3500 mile trip last year, but that was pretty much it for her. :(

We are also registered and are booked at the Best Western in Drummondville for 6/2 thru 6/5. Their event rate is $119.00 CAD. This will be our first attended event and we are looking forward to it --- see everyone there:clap:

I took a ground floor room, and it was $149.95 per night. (Canadian Dollars...)
It's only for two nights, and I've got a year to save up! :D

Bob did you have to call? Ali tried yesterday online and it doesn't go beyond May. Tom :spyder:

You have to call. You can't make an online reservation this far ahead.

And bear in mind, they will probably answer the phone in French.

:agree: But once they figure out that you're American; they switch over to English... :2thumbs:

...And they speak it better than I do! :opps:

That's $119.00 plus ~17% tax.

I got the $119 rate for 4 nights, 6/1-4, for a total of about $557. Their AARP/Senior rate for this summer, which should be indicative of next summer, for a room with 2 queen beds, is about $143 plus about 17% tax, or about $668 for 4 nights. Looks like they're giving us about a 20% cut on room rates.

Best Western of Drummondville looks like a pretty nice hotel based on the pics on their web site! Some guests apparently commented about kind of smallish rooms and bathrooms, but what the hey? We aren't spending our time in the hotel, right!

Sharon and I registered yesterday, I had a lot of trouble trying to do online booking last night for a room. We could go a year ahead but everywhere we checked it showed no availability. I tried again this morning and I was able to book on line at LE Dauphin in Drummondville. $385.00 CAD for 3 nights.

Ali and I are booked. Comfort Inn, Drummondville. $145+tax per night. Getting there the first, leaving the 5th. It has been completely remodeled. And yes they answer in french. And speak very fast. Tom :spyder:
