• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I made mine after canceling my first one .....Now at Motel Drummond , 4 Nights @ 367.00 Canadian or $286.00 US.....Both these prices include ALL the taxes........The Motel is rated as good as the Comfort Inn, so it should be fine. It's almost within walking distance of the Centrexpo, where they are having the Big Sat nite shindig.......:2excited:.......Mike ...........PS, you can book on-line at most travel sites now because it's a year out .

That's where I'm staying

How did you know the details of the Saturday night shindig? Is there an agenda posted somewhere? I only saw a brief mention of it on the event Facebook page and nothing on the web. I may be looking in the wrong place.

Booked ready to go

Had no problem getting registered yesterday. Pretty easy. Just booked a room at Best Western in Drummondville a few minutes ago and that too went very smoothly. We have a Best Western Rewards card and have accumulated lots of points. Getting more at the Utah ralley this September. By next year we might be able to get a couple of nights at no charge (I hope).
Now it will be nice if we can group up with a few others on our trip across Canada. Have done it by car a few times but this is a bucket list item to cross our country by bike/tryke. Not that big a deal but still something I've wanted to do.
Now to brush up on my French. I grew up in Montreal but have not lived there for about 40 years.
Looking forward to this already.

Gary

My wife and I are also booked into the Best Western and are planning to ride out from Saskatoon. If it worked out to meet up for a portion of the trip we would be interested. We plan to leave on May 26-27 and ride the north route through Canada. I am sure there will be a few different groups going out that a person can join up with as the dates get closer.

Definitely a good chance there will be more plans and details as the time nears. By northern route I assume you mean across the trans Canada and to the north of Lake Superior, through North Bay Ontario, Ottawa etc and then down towards Mtl and on into Drummondville. That is the route we are thinking.

Yes that is the route we were thinking about. I have never driven past Thunder Bay so was thinking that would be a good chance to see that country.

You won't be disappointed! From TB to Sault Ste. Marie is beautiful. The rest is pretty good too.
