California.... here I come!!!!

Well, looks like my prayers have been finally answered. ray: I have orders out of North Carolina. I have to report to Miramar, California NLT July 31st. :2excited: After being in North Carolina for 8 years, I am really looking forward to this change. I am looking for ryders in San Diego area and some information on the local area. :dontknow: Can someone please tell me a bit about what I am getting into? Thanks.

What are you getting into?? Only the best place to live in the country!! LOL. I am in the north county San Diego. Its fantastic out here with lots of great riding weather and some darn good surfing!

I am sure you will enjoy it.

I moved from San Diego to East TN. You're giving up the seasons there, well they do have Fire Season.

It's not near as green, kinda brown in comparison. The weather is great and the riding is good, just not as good as it is here.

I can't see myself living there again after living in the south for the last 7 years. I grew up in San Diego but TN is my home. :doorag: I'm sure you'll like it.

Sounds terrible... We have two seasons winter and not winter... We are supposed to get 6 to 9 inches of snow tomorrow...:banghead:

it will be great...I wanted to move from San Francisco to San Diego but my wife ended up choosing Seattle:sour::shocked:

they have a big spyder ryders group in so cal.

San Diego is a great place! I used to live in S CA and had a cabin in the mountains above SD - the riding along the coast is great there are several nice mountain rides/desert rides etc - also - some of the best Mexican and seafood anywhere. I go down to SD area at least 2 times per year - I live 10 hours up in N Ca now - near Lake Tahoe=fantastic riding up here!
