• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

buying tires this week

i am buying tires for my 2010 rt. either 1656514 for the front and 2056015 for the rear. my other consideration is 1856014 front and 2156015 for the rear for a bigger footprint. has anyone used this larger combination? the tires will be vredestein on the front and general altimax rt43 rear. i assume with the larger footprint wont have a tendency to hydroplane more than the first consideration.

I run the 215/60R15 General Altimax on the rear with the Federal Formozas on the front in 165/55R15. It’s a great combination

Those choices are very, very good ( if Vredestein Quatrac 5 ) ….. I agree, generally speaking wider tires Hydroplane sooner. But considering your tire width choices, making that a consideration really isn't worth worrying about ….. PS - the Quatrac 5 model comes in 14in. dia. and has front tires as narrow as 145 that will work nice with your 2010 RT …… Mike :ohyea:
