• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all,

Ive started searching around for a new 2009, 2010 model Rs Se5 version and would like to hear from you all what might be a good asking price. So far ive found a 2010 Rs-S Pearl White thats on consignment for 16,500. And Ive also found a 2009 Yellow Rs Se5 for 16,000. The 2010 has like 1400 miles on it and the 2009 has a little over 2000 miles.

Im still searching, willing to travel across state lines to get a great deal on one. Just not sure what are good prices for the 2009, 2010 models.

Thanks

To get a good idea about prices to compare, try ebay.I am not saying to but there, just compare prices.
Good luck in your serch.

There are some truly good prices on slightly used, well loved Spyders on our 4 sale forum. Many of these have thousands in extras, for next to nothing.

You can & should add a BEST warranty to any Spyder you buy.

New Spyder pricing is very Dealer & location dependent. I looked for months, & bought my first Spyder new (RS SM5) for $14,200, out the door - a 2009, new in 2009.

Good shipping from anywhere in the US will cost $800 to $1200 today, depending on the actual distance.

If you opt for a used bike, I recommend going through a dealer, local to the seller & paying for a service & inspection...

For the Prices they are asking you should beable to by new or at least a leftover from 2010. goodluck

:welcome:

Good advice given so far. Be sure to check the 4 sale section of this forum as if you are willing to travel to pick it up some very good deals are available.

I just picked up a 2011 rss from Honda house 360 in Richmond, Va.
They did not charge me freight nor prep fees, and got about 10% off msrp.
I know they have a blue rs on the floor, my salesman was Ron.

:agree: Those prices seem a few thousand $ to high for a used one.
:agree:... Just want to add... All dealers know we will not pay the asking price on used... Out the door is very different than the asking price . Not to mention trade ins usually help on the taxes :ohyea:
