• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went for a short ride today and as I was riding it started to snow! What the heck! Wasn't much, but still too early for me! My wife was not on the back of the RT so I got to open it up a bit, (not while it was snowing)so I gunned it and brought the RPM's up quick and went through all 5 gears and was at 120 KM per hour before I knew it, which is about 75 mph! Sure felt like it didn't take very long to get there. Does any one know how long it takes the Spyder to go from 0-60? Anyway it sure was fun except for the snow part!:yes::yes:. Might have to go out solo more often.( if she lets me!) first time went through all the gears that fast, very accelerating!!

Very Jealous! Surprised more because the last two years we had no snow here in Quebec until mid December. Must be real nice to ride all year around ? Been reading your posts and hope you get the issues resolved soon, understand your frustration!

Right there with ya! Started snowing and sleeting here in VT yesterday. Supposed to be in the 60's by Monday. Gotta love this place! Freakville USA!

Cool, low 30's and cloudy today. Going to get in one more ride today. The weatherman is predicting rain/snow for Monday and Tuesday.

Gentlemen, what is the snow thing you speak of?.....Oh, yes, I remember now, it snowed here once in 1986. Everyone stayed home for a week. I hope it does not happen again soon. It was horrible. Wal-Mart and the saloons were closed!

Update: its snowing already, and starting to stick on the ground. We did not get out and about quick enough to beat the snow.

Will depend on whether or not the snow melts off the road when its done. :spyder2: does not like driving on snow or ice in my opinion.

I went out Thursday morning on a "test" ride to see how many layers and what gear I need for cooler weather (Skyline Drive next weekend!). It was about 40F when I started, got up to 75 during the day and was back down to the 40s that evening. I met up with some friends for dinner. I had a on light fleece and put on my Can-Am Caliber jacket, a stranger said "It's not snowing, yet!!" I replied that it was a motorcycle jacket and that I was riding home. We got out side and he was surprised at how chilly/damp it was.

It was down in the 30s last night/this morning. I had to the turn the heat on in the house. We've had two mild winters in a row, everyone is saying this one will be a bad one for our area. C'mon mother nature, I just bought a Spyder! Cut it out!

BTW, are those heated handgrips awesome or what?!?!

Time to put them away???

Noooooo! I don't want to yet! LOL! We did get out today it was only 44 F but we dressed warm and it was fine.we did about 90 miles or so. We have a long week end Nov.11 (remembrance day) and I am really hoping we have an Indian summer, to get a bit more riding in! I think that will be the week end the RT gets put away. We have until Dec.15 here in Quebec, that is when winter tires must be on by law. So if the weather permits.:ohyea:For those of you in the warm climates, enjoy the ride! And for those in the same climate as me, why do we put up with the white crap:gaah:
