• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP parts schematics....

ataDude

Mod Maniac
... saw this somewhere else. A well-hidden feature for you:

Go here: http://www.brp.com/en-US/Related.Products/

1. Click on Parts
2. Click "Visit site now"
3. Enter your email address (to allow access to the parts site)
4. Choose advanced search (Spyder is not in the pull down Product menu)
5. Type in "Spyder" in model field
6. Finally, pick "Spyder GS 990"

Have fun.

Good that ataDude reminded folks, or introduced new members to it...it's "hidden" in plain sight! Lamont had linked it from the righthand sidebar. :chat:

If it bugs you, you don't have to put your email address in. Just click "Roadster" from both drop down menus and you're all set. Zoom feature is nice, too.

HA! I never go to the main page. I just found it!

Thanks!

The obsolete ataDude. :yikes:

Hey, man, you're not obsolete...just getting old like me! :joke:

Seriously, it's a real useful link, and alot of the stuff that we've all talked about here ages ago needs to be refreshed in our minds so that some more of the new folks could benefit--and continue to learn and know more about their Spyders, especially if they are preparing for delivery.

Which reminds me, it's also time to remind folks of the pre-delivery inspection checklist (about a 7MB file) which is posted here. This one was published a year ago, so there's got to be a new one for the SE5, but most of these items would be the same.

Oh, good. Now just old. :yikes: :D
