• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone! I recently installed BRP foglights with aftermarket HIDs following lamonts thread, but after everything was installed the lights wouldnt power up. checked for power, fuse, batttery & etc.:gaah: Finally the seller of the foglights told me that the 2010 rs needs to be plugged in to the BUDS system and needs the foglights to be turned on?? After going to the dealer, disappointed! Dealer said that it didnt work and i would have to get the BRP xenon kit and wiring harness!:banghead: Dealer said that there was a 2008 rs that burned his whole wiring harness because of the aftermarket HIDs.:yikes:
For all the owners that have aftermarket HIDs on their foglights, how did you do it? Also is there a way to just run the foglights separately, running it from the battery with separate ground, power and inline fuse? I had no problems with my HIDs for my headlights

Anyone have any suggestions???

I have my after market LED running lights running off my PC8 fuse block. No problem. It's on a GS but I wouldn't think that would make a difference. I try to stay away from the electrical system as much as I can.

I had 55w after market [wally world] fog lights on my 08GS.
I wired directly to the battery with a separate toggle switch fused, Ran it for 3 years without any problems.

I was just out in my garage trying some different things and I got it to work!!
Connected directly to fuze block (from tricled) and worked like a charm!!
Now my next question is, do I need to change out the wiring harness back to original wiring harness or can I just leave the wiring harness with the foglight wires unplugged! I really don't wanna take off the whole frunk again!!
