• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP CATALOG:

Still waiting for my 2015 Catalog to arrive.

It is very difficult to have a catalog totally "current." The lead time required is about a year to get everything in that should be. Things change in the interim.

Did anyone find the elusive "frunk" switch? I perused the online version and could not.

Prices: Oh yes! They are up there with the best of them. It always seems to cost more to have the "genuine" article. I have a few items that I just could not get elsewhere over the years, but would say the majority of my farkles and riding gear are from other aftermarket sources.

It offers a great mix to keep things interesting.

The frunk switch is gone. I asked the dealer about it and he said that it was discontinued

I want to order the Saddlebag liners for my STL. Price does not seem too bad bad but it says "sold in Canada only" WTF! So they will not ship them to the US? I will try to order anyway and see what happens.

I am surprised even in my Catalog it says "ONLY AVAILABLE IN CANADA" for the ST saddlebag liners :yikes::yikes:

Recent bout getting info on the top box #219400476 may have to redneck a mount the BRP mount cost more than the box¿! & cant offer to match key to saddle bag?![emoji107]. Or color of bike. Sad

I don't recall the brand but I found a switch at a local electronics shop which I connected into the harness almost like the factory one. I doesn't look exactly like the OEM switch, and I did have to cut off some plastic tabs, but it worked. Only around $9 I think. It's a separate switch and I used jumper wires to tie into the connector the OEM switch plugs into.

IMO after installing the electric opener in my frunk (the base RT didn't come with it) and then finding out you can open the frunk with the key even when the bike is running, I regretted having spent the time and money to do it. It's a nice to have feature with minimal value as I see it.

From my understanding the inventory available at the BRP on line store is not the same as the inventory available from the dealer. Two different warehouses, and they do not cross ship.:gaah:So if one sourse is out of stock try the other. Dealers frequently use E-bay to move excess inventory.(I've seen BRP HID headlight kits at half price). My dealer gives healthy discounts to loyal customers for BRP catalog items and parts. It keeps me coming back.

BRP has been discontinuing a lot of their items, the older R35 saddle bag kit for 20-2 and older and the two puece backrest setup as well as the color panels for the r35 bags.

Guess BRP is taking notes from HD¿! & or a manager got hired higher up[emoji15]
