• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Called me

Last night someone from BRP called asking about whether I was still going to the Red Carpet Event. He asked whether I would be riding the Spyder and since I was bringing a guest, whether it was my wife or girlfriend. He even suggested me joining a local riding group. I thought it was nice that BRP is taking such an interest and taking the time to call.
Has anyone had a similar call from BRP?:dontknow:

You should have said I am bring two guest.

My wife, and our girlfriend. You are sure glad you purchased that trailer to pull behind for the wife because it was get hard to fit 3 people on the spyder since your girlfriend in dew in a few weeks.

That would have made that guy on the other end drop his mouth. I love messing with marketing people that waste my time by having me answer the telephone so I give them a few extra second to make it worth while.

I had someone call me a couple of months after I purchased my Spyder. They asked some questions about how much I enjoyed my machine. They were very personable and seemed interested. They suggested the brp page to find some groups or start one up. I think it is a great touch and I did not feel these guys were annoying marketing types. I think they are doing a good job and the fact that they are doing PR with those of us who already have bought (not just concentrating on NEW business) says a lot in my books.

I had a similar call a few days ago. His name was Lou, said he was with BRP and remembered my husband and me from the Angels Anaheim owner’s event last month. He also mentioned an alternative for Friday night, June 26th because of parking problems that might occur at Bob's. He said he would have maps for it there. Night life in downtown Burbank. Looking forward to meeting everyone next weekend.
