Has anyone tried the BRP Anti-Vibe Handlebar Kit from the 2009 catalog. I don't see it on the web site, so maybe it's not available yet. Looks like a nice touch and might just be enough to dampen vibration a tad.
I have had the kit on order since October '08 when I picked up my Spyder. No sign of it yet (nor of the Ultra Touring windshield either.):dontknow:

Too much is a relative thing. What's bad for you may be normal for me. Heck, anything that shakes less than my '65 Triumph is probably considered good in this house.Just a thought...If BRP knows that She:spyder: vibrates too much, why not fix it or offer the extension as a standard part?:dontknow:
What is too much vibration is very subjective. For me, the vibration level is fine unless you are doing big miles, which I do when I get a chance. I have all the aftermarket anti vibe fixes, but if I was just commuting or taking weekend trips I don't think I would have bothered. This is a V twin and as V twins go it is very tame when it comes to vibration. I still have trouble with the fact that it is a V twin with a red line of almost 10 grand. I grew up with twins that would go boom if you revved them to half that. The risers would have the same effect as a bar-end weight.I guess I have numb hands.... I don't notice the handle bars vibrating.. You don't suppose it might be the 4" risers that fix it??
However, never, or at least can't remember, if there was a lot of vibration or not.
The only complaint I have with the vibration is mirror shake at certain RPM's.

:agree::doorag:Is it just bar end weights? How much? Maybe it would make more sense to just get the Throttlemeister instead. Cruise control plus anti-vibe for one price.

I put the Heavy throttlemiester on early, before the NMN risers.:agree::doorag:
