There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP and Carlos Have done a Great job In my opinion

In 09 I did not get to participate in Spyders In The Smokies, because the output shaft had gone bad 2 weeks before time to go. BRP got the parts to my dealer in about 10 days however it was 3 months before my dealer go around to putting my spyder back together and I am convinced that then it was only because Carlos got involved after an email from me.
I have said this as back ground. It is now 10 months and about 10,000 miles later and the engine has a knocking sound. I considered riding as hard as I could and blowing it up but did not and am very glad that I did not now. It would have been childish anyway.
Took my spyder in and the mechanic happen to walk by and said it sounded like the timing chain. This is a completely new mechanic from the one that tore the engine down last time. I told the dealer that I was going to send Carlos an email before I even knew what was wrong. For one I did not want the repair to drag on for 3 or more months and also to let him know that I felt that since this was the second time the engine would be torn down by the dealer that BRP should send a new engine.
The mechanic was right it was the timing chain and a few other things also. All this time Carols or the person he had keeping up with the dealer is calling the dealer for a progress report. I know this because I call once a week and the dealer lets me know that BRP is calling real regular. After the dealer finally gets the engine torn down to BRPs satisfaction, it is left in BRPS hands to decide what to do. I will not say who the dealer is but they have not called me yet. Carlos called to let me know they were looking at what was going to be the best things to do with my engine, he has called me personally twice.
A few days later I call the dealer and they tell me there is a new engine sitting in the floor waiting to back in my spyder.
Carlos just happen to call after I found this out and I told him to please let the people at BRP know that I think this was the proper decision but would have tried to live with what ever they decide.
All of this I guess to say I am still a very happy spyder owner and with the service I have received from BRP can not help but be happy. Thank YOU BRP and CARLOS.

I am glad you had a good experience. And believe me, you are not alone by any means!

If you ever get the chance to meet Carlo in person, you'll be impressed. Matter of fact, I've been impressed with every BRP representative I've met, and that has been quite a few.

From what I can tell they don't get a position just because of seniority or glad-handing. My feeling is they got the position the old fashioned way, they earned it.

Ok, so BRP isn't perfect. I don't know why I feel the need to throw in these disclaimers. Especially since I'm a Fan-Boy anyway. Even the best are just very good. No one is perfect.

Carlo and several other folks at BRP have been extremely helpful to me. I am certain that Carlo has the hardest job in the company. He handles tough situations every day with kindness and diplomacy...and more importantly effectiveness. Maybe he is not perfect, but he is better than I am. He earns his pay ten times over, IMO. Thank you for allowing another fan to give him, and his associates, a well deserved pat on the back.

I am also a member of the Carlo Fan Club. He has a job that not many of us would want and he does it very well.. Thanks again Carlo for your help.

Back in 86? I bought a new GTI, last one made Pa. The engine and drive train were made in Germany,
After a few hundred miles a engine part failed.
I was then told [by the dealer] that part was not in stock in this Country and it would take weeks to get. I made one phone call to their HQ [in NJ at the time] In one hour they called me back and said they'll Red Flag it from Germany and the dealer will have the part in 24 hours, The part came in on time, and installed.
That's the way it should be taken care of ,
Not dozens of phone calls back and forth to the dealer.

I am glad to hear about the good reports from those who have sought assistance from Carlo. Fortunately, I have not needed to do so yet but it is good to know he is there for me if I ever do need his help.
