• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Broke down in Albuquerque

Rode up the Sandia mountain this morning then headed south towards Mountainair, about 12 miles north of Mountainair bike lost all power. Had to call a tow and it's at the dealer here in Albuquerque. I'll find out tomorrow what the cause. I have a SM5 and just riding along and all of a sudden RPM's went up but no power. No limp mode no gear, no nothing.
Stranded now at hotel. Not a good day.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like when I was coming back from Spyderfest 2011. Turned out to be a worn clutch.:( Good luck!

Hope to find out this morning. I hope they can take a part off one of their other Spyders if they don't have it in stock. Now it's just sit and wait. I'll keep u posted.

Ah, man, I hated reading you're down. Never a good time, but this was ryde was special. Really hoping the problem gets fixed within a few hours.

Best of luck Dave getting her fixed up. Bet your thinking now, I should have rode the Harley.:banghead: Hope you have your toy hauler somewhere near.

We sure didn't have any luck talking the Albuquerque dealer into taking parts off his stock to fix us up...hope your delay isn't anywhere near as long as ours was. Good luck, Dave. Hope to see you in Durango.

Hope you are back up and running quick Dave . Sounds like a clutch issue. Did you have any slippage before the failure ?

Sorry about your issues but I was glad to see you riding in Durango. BRP stepped up on that one

Dave:
From Lamont's post it appears that they got it fixed. Could you post what the "fix" was?
Thanks
John
