Break in service question

So other than the standard oil change what else is involved with the break in service. Normally just the oil change on my first spyder ran me about $205. But was quoted 354 for the first service. I'm not complaining just curious as to what the extra expense was for and what I should make sure they're doing to warrant the extra dough. Thanks everyone. It's all worth it at the end of the day. Loving my new ST-S

A lot...

they run diagnostics on all systems, buds checks for any stored codes, any updates to softwear is done belt tension is checked and adjusted etc. First service is always good to have done by dealer. After that you can do alot yourself...:thumbup:

:agree: The cost from your dealer is a little high, I paid $242.00 for my first service including the oil change. But I would not skip this one. I have performed all my oil changes ever since.
