I know this article pertains to Victory motorcycle engines but it is also about breaking in gasoline engines with a nikasil cylinder coating which is what the Spyder engines have. Some good information & I thought I would share it. Happy reading & ryding! :yes::yes::yes::yes:

The more I read these ideas about break in, the more I realize I just ride like this normally.

Research...

The one thing that I did learn researching different bikes & engines is warm up is the most important thing with a nikasil engine. 2 minutes is all that is needed for a cold engine. Enough to get the oil circulating & the cylinders warmed up some.
