A few days ago while I was fueling up the RTL a "Real Biker"™ on a non-HD V-Twin complete with a Harley shirt, still shiny chaps, chain wallet, doo-rag, nose-pickers and an insta-biker patch-leather vest that are sold at rallys with the "live to ride","Free Spirit", "Route 66", etc. patches already sewn on them was at the next pump. He started the "That ain't a real bike" spiel, so I agreed with him. I said, "No, it's not a bike. It wasn't designed as one, never has been one. It has 3 wheels, so under Missouri law it is classified as a Motortricycle. It's a Can Am Spyder, made by Bombardier Recreational Products, the same people that made my Ski-Doo snowmobiles when I lived in Minnesota. Not much snow here, so I guess this would be my landmobile." Finished gassing up, told him "Keep your knees in the breeze!" and rode off.
