• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake failure help

Well I'm already getting "Brake Failure!" alerts scrolling across my display again.... this is ridiculous I tell you! I've barely ridden it since topping the reservoirs off and resetting the positions of both caps as suggested! :banghead:

I sent you a PM with some info that may help.

Just thought I'd post an update... with the brake fluid reservoir caps oriented so that the cap vents are to the rear, I get the "Brake Failure" message a whole lot less now I must admit! I was getting it every few weeks, now it only comes on every few months (which I would attribute to the pads wearing and more fluid being retained in the brake calipers... but those sensors are still far too high in the tank IMHO).

I'm just over 15K miles on my RS now, the tires are wearing evenly and other than the now rare Brake Failure message it's smooth riding.

Regards and enjoy the ride everyone!
