• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Failure Fault!?!

Anybody else have this coming across their screen when applying the brakes? Dealer has cheked it out, could find nothing wrong. Brakes are working, just getting that message for some reason from time to time and do not know what to do or what might be wrong. Owners manual does not help. Can someone help me.....PLEASE!!!!

Search for a brake reset thread in here. The fault indicator usually gets tripped because of low pressure in the line. It happens once in a blue moon to some people in here and they are forced to reset the message. Procedure came from the shop manual (which your dealer should have). Something about turn key, hold paddle for 30 sec. hearing a click .... yada yada yada. But if the fault comes back, I'd ride the dealer's arse until they figure out why.

Also check brake fluid level. Spyder is real sensitive to low level.

:agree: I got the brake warning once. When I got home I checked the fluid level. At first glance, my brake fluid level looked full. I did add just a touch of fluid to get both halves of the reservoir up to full and I haven't had the brake warning since (6 months).
