• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake & Clutch Fluid?

I have a 2012 rt SM-5 and a while back I had trouble with it shifting gears. I got a reply to my question saying that I should check the fluid reservor for level. They said it's the one of the left side of the handlebar as you sit in the drivers seat. I opened it up and sure enough it was low. I topped it off and didn't seem to have a leak that I could find. The reservor on the handlebar was quite small and I can't believe that it handles both the Clutch & the Braking system! Could somebody Help me out with this? TIA

It is clutch only, the braking system reservoir is under the seat. Totally independent of each other.

Brake and clutch are 2 totally separate systems but both use the same type of fluid, DOT4. An oil change and a clutch fluid flush/fill will probably solve your problem

:agree: You should probably change the clutch fluid just about every year, and the brake fluid about every two years... just to be safe!

All of the above

:agree: you do have two for the brakes and the one for the clutch...but the least amount missing and you will get warnings or issues. Check them

Brake & Clutch Fluids?

Thanks Guys! I really dig it when I can ask a question on here and get multiple replies, all of them to the point & helpful, with no negative remarks about how much I don't know about my 2012 rt that I've owned since mid October.
