• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bonneville World of Speed

Hey Doc you going to go this year? :dontknow:

What better break in for a Spyder with 100,000 miles on it? Nothing like a few speed runs to make sure the motors still tight. :yikes:

MM

Ummm...Yeeeeah, that'll do it!! :roflblack: :roflblack: It would sure be a good shout out to the engine if it were done and it did well. Personally I LOVE these ROTAX V990's. If we could map them a bit better we could really kick some tail with these things! What gets me about them is the low-end torque and then how they love to rev. At least my two do! :doorag:

:2thumbs:

Go Doc go!

I am looking forward to hearing the results of this run. Have a great time, and safe travels as well.

30 tooth sprocket from Mels Monster Garage, one week after installation (8.20-8.27) and 960 miles :

Back on the OEM 28 tooth...:gaah:

Nice splines Doc. Maybe you need a sprocket made from titanium.

Obviously this one didnt pass the Doc test.:gaah::gaah::gaah:

Doc that is pretty crazy on the sprocket!

Happy that you have a little time and can get the stock sprocket back on.... will that affect your speed on the flats?

Keep us posted! I'm cheering from Newfoundland!!

That won't solve the root cause of the problem. Some steel ones are doing it aren't they.
