Cowtown maintenence
I am in Bartlsville, OK visiting my Kinfolk. I left Cowtown about 1:00. I swear the more I work with those Cowtown folks the more I like the way they do business. For those of you wondering what they charged for the tire change.
$149.99 cost of tire
28.40 Ride On Sealant
75.00 Labor
Total $253.39
They also found that my rear bearing was about to fail so they replaced it. I also had them install a Green Air Filter. They also checked my brake pads.
All this and they still only charged $75 Labor.
While I was waiting for my work to be finished I had the opportunity to see why this is such a great operation. I saw Len spend more than a half hour with a guy who wanted to buy a T-shirt. He was not happy with the size and he did not like the color but Len stuck with him and worked things out until the customer was satisfied. I wonder what the profit margin was on that T-shirt? But the guy walked away happy and if he ever gets around to buying a Spyder I bet he'll be back to Cowtown.
When I return from my trip to Bonneville I will stop in Cuba and let them do my oil change. Too bad they are 700mi from my home otherwise they would be my first and only choice for maintenance. When it comes time to purchase a new Spyder, guess who will top my list of possible dealers?
